The QA Technician works in the Quality Assurance department and performs general quality control quality assurance testing and review activities in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), company policy and safety regulations.
Essential duties and responsibilities
Product and raw material quarantine, inspection, and release;
Review and release of processed customer orders and records;
Review and release of production manufacturing records;
Environmental sampling
Ensures compliance to departmental procedures;
Understand and follow product drawings;
Lab cleaning;
General data / documentation review and archive.
Understand and follow the established corporate safety standard, local facility operating procedures and safety policies.
Maintain regular and predictable attendance
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma, or equivalent
Basic computer skills
Ability to work all shifts and overtime
Experience in a FDA regulated industry and/or QA environment, preferred
Proficient in the use of a PC with an intermediate level of keyboarding skills, preferred
Proficient in JDEdwards ERP System, preferred
