About the role:
The Global Supply Planner will play an active role in translating the key element of the business strategies into tactical functional initiatives to meet the service and objectives across all regions.
The position will determine the quantities by product required to maintain target inventory levels and with the appropriate lead time to order product from source to replenish to the Regional DC’s. The Global Planner will be the main point of contact of the Manufacturing sites to establish strong global supply plan that are allowing to achieve the business strategy and in the same time meeting the Supply Chain KPI’s.
Main responsibilities will include:
Supply Planning-Canaan MFG Plant
Responsible for running a global supply Plan for assigned products to improve service levels to Customers and optimize working capital spend
Provide projections to regional warehouse management and transportation functions on Inbound and Storage Volumes
Execute deployment / allocation in short supply situations Translate business/inventory needs into supply needs
Engage with the other worldwide planning organization on management of long term product supply shortages e.g., temporarily reduce inventory targets in order to automate the propagation / distribution of the materials with shortages, creation of manual allocation to the regions to allow fair share deployment and intercompany shipments.
S&OP process facilitation
Facilitate Hypodermic Canaan Manufacturing Plants Supply Reviews and represent that Global information
Ensures timely collection and review of the appropriate information required for this forum to accurately determine Global production plan
Collaborate with all regionals demand Planners & Supply Planners for assessment and understanding of their needs.
Support WW Supply Chain key initiatives to accomplish outstanding forecast accuracy, back order performance and Line fill
Business performance management
Support CI, cost reduction or efficiency initiatives in Global Portfolio of Hypodermic/Anesthesia Platform.
Support Business launch strategy from a Supply chain point of view (Startup of lines for stock build, Shelf life management)
Responsible for achieving Global Performance metrics of Back order, Line fill and inventory level of its portfolio
Consolidate, challenge the regional input for the annual LTP process
- 3-5 years related experience
- Proven experience in Supply Planning
- Strong data analytics
- Experience in different Supply Chain areas is a plus
- APICS certification is a plus
- ERP experience such as SAP or tools such as APO, SCM are a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain or related fields.
