Position Summary:
Supports compliance and continuous improvement of the local Quality Management System. Ensures adequate visibility to external document change, supports quality reviews and record generation.
Essential / Key Job Responsibilities:
Responsible to support the development, implementation and maintenance of a compliant and cost-effective quality management system that assures products and services are reliable, safe and effective.
Manages / maintains local databases as assigned
Harvests, analyzes and creates data files for quality reviews
Coordinates and conducts quality review meetings
Reviews and closes quality records
Maintains supplier files
Ensures that notice of change to external documents are tracked, assessed and closed
Ability to develop and create procedures, work instructions, templates / forms
Initiates nonconformance reports when appropriate.
Supports investigations and continuous improvement activities.
Proposes improvements to processes and may be responsible for execution of a process or analysis.
Applies knowledge and skills to a wide range of standard and non-standard situations.
Accountable for the execution of specific tasks with moderate discretion and with oversight from a supervisor.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Basic knowledge of quality management system and regulations
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to create and provide training
Problem solving ability
MS Word and Excel
CQA preferred
Education and Experience:
High school diploma / GED
Minimum of 3 years of related experience in quality management system and regulations
