Position Summary:

Supports compliance and continuous improvement of the local Quality Management System. Ensures adequate visibility to external document change, supports quality reviews and record generation.

Essential / Key Job Responsibilities:

Responsible to support the development, implementation and maintenance of a compliant and cost-effective quality management system that assures products and services are reliable, safe and effective.

• Manages / maintains local databases as assigned

• Harvests, analyzes and creates data files for quality reviews

• Coordinates and conducts quality review meetings

• Reviews and closes quality records

• Maintains supplier files

• Ensures that notice of change to external documents are tracked, assessed and closed

• Ability to develop and create procedures, work instructions, templates / forms

• Initiates nonconformance reports when appropriate.

• Supports investigations and continuous improvement activities.

• Proposes improvements to processes and may be responsible for execution of a process or analysis.

• Applies knowledge and skills to a wide range of standard and non-standard situations.

• Accountable for the execution of specific tasks with moderate discretion and with oversight from a supervisor.

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of quality management system and regulations

• Strong interpersonal skills

• Ability to create and provide training

• Problem solving ability

• MS Word and Excel

• CQA preferred

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma / GED

• Minimum of 3 years of related experience in quality management system and regulations
