Senior Manager, Integrated Technical Services

The position is based in San Diego, CA, reporting to the Director – Integrated Connectivity Solutions. This leader will focus on driving the development of technical services – remote support of devices, servicing, user identity and security in support of MMS product portfolio. Articulate product requirements in collaboration with customers (as needed) and anchor product owners, and drive alignment of anchor products to common standard.

The position is based in San Diego, CA, reporting to the Director – Integrated Connectivity Solutions.  This leader will focus on driving the development of technical services – remote support of devices, servicing, user identity and security in support of MMS product portfolio. Articulate product requirements in collaboration with customers (as needed) and anchor product owners, and drive alignment of anchor products to common standard.

We are looking for a passionate and self-driven product management professional to support the organization’s transition from providing category-leading products to delivering integrated solutions and services.  This individual will create new cross product integration, and will partner closely with the Global Customer Support organization to deliver new solution-specific offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Solution management, including growth and innovation strategy, product lifecycle management, and deliver/service capacity planning.

  • Partner with the R&D organization, Medical Affairs, and other internal clinical SMEs to effectively define user needs and requirements to feed our agile development process

  • Global revenue growth, including current operating year and three-year Annual Strategic Plan

  • Commercial go-to-market strategy working in collaboration with downstream marketing, MMS Sales Team and Global Customer Service Organization, including participation in key account management

  • Generating actionable customer insights across multiple geographies to drive innovation

  • Defining a vision for differentiating BD’s Analytics and Services versus competitors including through collaborations with other platforms and BD business units

  • Leadership of cross platform innovation and projects to deliver BD’s Analytics and Services.

  • Partner with Public Policy, Medical Affairs, and the Clinical Solutions and Strategy group to develop and drive market-shaping/development and evidence generation activities.

  • Identify ongoing opportunities to advance practice analytics partnering with the advanced analytics team.

Qualifications

  • Experience and understanding of US and international acute care hospitals medication management process;

  • MBA with a concentration in Marketing a plus;

  • Experience and background in Health Information Technology (HIT) a plus with an understanding of how HIT solutions are implemented in hospitals;

  • 5-8 years of experience in upstream marketing, general management, business development;

  • The ideal candidate will have experience in both upstream and downstream marketing;

  • Must have prior new product development experience, resulting in successful new product launches;

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams;

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
