The Master Production Scheduler is charged with the responsibility of managing, establishing, reviewing, and maintaining the master schedule for all products manufactured at the Site. This is a 1st shift Monday -Thursday 7am-530pm (flexible on start time to work 10 hour days)
Master Production Scheduler Knowledge Areas and Technical Proficiencies:

Master Production Scheduling and planning techniques
Advance Knowledge on Production Product Structure (Routers and BOM)
Capacity & Resources management
Business and supply chain strategy

Strongly driven by process improvement and lean/six sigma methodologies
Supply Planning & Master Scheduling:
The Master Production Scheduler role will serve as the main liaison between the Plant, the Divisional Supply Chain team, and the Finance Center of Excellence in creating a constrained supply plan.
Responsible to orchestrate the Site SSIOP process and manage the capacity/resource planning analysis in close collaboration with the Manufacturing supervisors for each product line.
Establish, measure, monitor, and adjust capacity levels to implement all manufacturing schedules.
Ensure appropriate Planning Parameters are maintained in the ERP system.
Responsible for translating demand signals for all product families to a time-phased master production schedule
Responsible to translate the site supply planning process into the monthly/quarterly financial forecast.
Defined Inventory targets by work center and category (RM WIP & FG) and effectively analyze whether inventories need to be maintained, increased, or decreased. Responsible for managing the Bin Sizing Tool targets considering appropriate lead-times, the supply variability and service level commitments.
Lead weekly service calls. Track and report key business metrics including but not limited to labor efficiency, Past Due Orders, Plan vs. Actual, Inventory Health, Backorder, etc.
Coordinate information with other functional staff, including engineering, new products, finance, and human resources.
Comply with all local BD quality policies, procedures, and practices through consistent application of sound quality assurance principles.

Additional Desirable Qualifications Skills and Knowledge:
Experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning Systems (ERP) and MRP (SAP, JD Edwards, etc.)
At least one professional certification such as Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Production & Inventory Management (CPIM), Project Management (PMP) and / or Lean/Six Sigma (Orange, Green or Black Belt).
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or business field; Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Management, Mathematics, Applied Statistics, or similar degree.
5+ years of professional experience working in fast paced manufacturing and or Medical Device/Pharmaceutical environment is preferred.
Work Environment:
Typical work week is 40 hours with additional/variable hours for specific work periods and projects. Specific workdays and hours are flexible and may change with advance notice
The nature of the work requires exposure to chemicals, noise and machinery and non-ionizing radiation.
