Reports directly to the Inbound Supply Chain Manager. Is responsible for moving (raw, in-process, and finished goods) materials into, through and out of the Warehouse area, also out of Post-Sterile area. Using available hand equipment and forklift trucks to move materials. Responsible for controlling the receipt, storage, and issuance of labels/cannula used in the manufacture and distribution of medical device products. Transport approved labels/cannula from QC Incoming to the Label/Cannula Room.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Locates and retrieve raw materials from Warehouse storage racks, according to SAP requisition or Apriso transaction using FIFO system. Warehouser delivers material to requesting departments(s). Open bales, crates and other containers as vital using hand tools.
May assist shipping warehouse by transporting finished goods from Post-Sterilization storage; loading them onto trucks in the Shipping Department.
May assist receiving Warehouser by performing the following tasks: Unload trucks, verifying count to bill of lading/packing slips. Stacks materials on pallets or other storage medium for inventory in the Raw Materials Warehouse or other areas as specified.
Verifies part ID and quantity of all incoming material. Appropriately marks incoming goods with label or LP prior to storage in racks
Perform the vital duties to maintain a cycle count accuracy level of 98%. Perform monthly cycle counts on items in warehouse. Reconcile discrepancies within the scope of responsibility.
Performs duties employing all standard safety practices as detailed in forklift operator training course. Must be a licensed forklift operator.
Performs daily safety check of powered equipment as required.
Must have a confirmed understanding of all SAP and Apriso transactions.
Must observe all safety and environmental practices and Quality System Requirements (QSR).
Handle all waste drum, dispose of all empty drums, and transfer requests for non-hazard and hazardous drums for all departments.
Locate labels, and return labels in separate and segregated storage bins by part number using the SAP/Apriso systems. Receives and verify labels from the Warehouse and/or manufacturing areas. Identify labels and quantities are accurate prior to placing into inventory.
Receives SAP/Apriso orders by computer/gun. Prepare orders with accurate labels/cannula and quantity for manufacturing issuance. Issue labels/cannula to manufacturing Material Handler and enters in computer.
Upon return of unused labels/cannula verify label/cannula count and batch number.
Perform daily computer transactions.
Performs other warehousing duties as required by the Manager.
