Peripheral Intervention
Our Peripheral Intervention (PI) business unit offers a comprehensive range of medical products, devices and services for the treatment of peripheral arterial and venous disease, cancer detection, and end-stage renal disease and maintenance.

The Global Market Manager will lead our Port and CVC Franchise within the PI Oncology Platform. The franchise lead is responsible for identifying and delivering on key strategic downstream and upstream marketing activities including but not limited to commercial excellence, new product development/innovation, and global expansion. This position will work closely with US sales and regional marketing teams as well as internal cross functional groups to ensure success of the portfolio globally. This role will be responsible for directly managing and developing a team of marketing professionals.

The Global Market Manager- (Senior level), will lead our Port and Chronic Vascular Access Franchise within the PI Oncology Platform. The franchise lead is responsible for identifying and delivering on key strategic downstream and upstream marketing activities including but not limited to commercial excellence, new product development/innovation, and global expansion.  This position will work closely with US sales and regional marketing teams as well as internal cross functional groups to ensure success of the portfolio globally.  This role will be responsible for directly managing and developing a team of marketing professionals.

Essential / Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Act as critical resource for defining, driving the strategy, and delivering results for the Port/CVC franchise globally

  • Work with R&D to develop a strong portfolio of product development projects that support the strategic direction and grow the business

  • Build and maintain relationship with key opinion leaders and strategic customers

  • Communicate and collaborate with domestic sales force and global marketing entities

  • Identify and develop marketing programs, sales tools, and promotions

  • Serves as a product and procedure expert to provide technical support to sales force, and assist in training, meetings, and conventions

  • Demonstrates strong business and marketing acumen to conduct market assessments and provide strategic recommendation

  • Establish strategic and tactical go-to-market/campaign plans, including product-level positioning and messaging to be used by sales and marketing

  • Work closely with business development to identify and assess potential acquisition or investment targets

  • Manage market research activities to develop fact-based customer insights

  • Manage annual budget for Port/CVC franchise

  • Provides marketing leadership and excellence across the Oncology platform

  • Develops key talent and helps drive culture of team

Experience/Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or advanced degree preferred

  • 5-10 years’ experience preferably working in medical device marketing with progressively increasing levels of responsibility in product management and the managing of product managers.

  • Previous management experience required

  • Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines in an environment of competing priorities

  • Proven ability to work in high-paced environment and routinely work on multiple tasks with multiple people while effectively prioritizing

  • Action oriented with demonstrated ability to drive results

  • Flexibility to travel globally 30% of the time

  • Strong collaborative mindset, interpersonal skills and ability to work in a matrix organizational structure

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
