The Wave Planner is responsible for monitoring the activity of the picking process on a daily basis by
reviewing the daily workload and assigning orders to warehouse associates based on carrier schedule
pick-up times.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for order flow management and order reconciliation through the WMS and SAP systems.

  • Allocate product to orders and review any applicable special instructions.

  • Monitor the accuracy and integrity of the inventory and picking processes.

  • Ensure all customer specific requirements are followed during transfer order creation.

  • Communicate any inventory discrepancies that cannot be resolved to Inventory Control for further investigation.

  • Allocate product to orders and review any applicable special instructions.

  • Ensure order process activity records are prepared timely, and effectively maintained.

  • Become knowledgeable of the responsibilities of the other warehouse positions. Assist asrequired. Act as back up at times of absence or vacation.

Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or GED, preferred.

  • 1 year of relevant experience, required in lieu of High School Diploma or GED.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks or projects.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment.

  • Ability to read and interpret distribution documents.

  • Basic analytical, organizational and prioritization skills.

  • Proficient in the use of a PC, with strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

  • General distribution knowledge.

While performing this job, the associate is regularly exposed to episodes of walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, balancing, crouching, reaching, pushing/pulling, grasping, hearing, twisting, lifting, frequent use of hand to finger, handle, feel, pick or type which can include repetitive motion of the wrists, hands or fingers. The associate may occasionally be required to climb. The job may require lifting over 50lbs in some areas but not all. Associate must have normal field of vision corrected to 20/40 in each eye and must have hearing sufficient to safely operate MHE
[Material Handling Equipment] in a manufacturing/distribution environment.
