GENERAL FUNCTION:

Come join a great team leading the fast-paced infusion delivery and connectivity space at one of the largest medical device companies in the world.

We are looking for a creative, highly motivated marketer who can drive growth in BD Alaris™ connectivity and data platform for the US Region. We need a passionate marketer who can lead the Regional efforts in support of the products and organizational objectives, and deliver business results.

The marketer who will thrive in this role is comfortable in undefined spaces and doesn’t mind working at both a strategic and tactical level to influence the customer buying process and drive sales.

This role will be responsible for establishing and executing a strategic direction for fast-growing connectivity and data solutions for BD Alaris™ Infusion System franchise. This person will drive business growth as measured by customer adoption, competitive conversions, sales revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction. He/she will be responsible for developing key insights into market opportunities, creating solutions to commercial barriers, shaping the market, and executing strategies to drive financial performance.

Key responsibilities will include:

In this role you will have deep working knowledge of the BD Alaris™ System connectivity and data platform. Core job responsibilities include:

  • Marketing programs and communications

    • Continuously invest in understanding customer pain points and their strategic objectives and create relevant marketing campaigns and initiatives.

    • Define and execute marketing programs required for demand generation and customer acquisition and retention to support revenue and sales objectives.

    • Develop integrated marketing campaign strategies for assigned product portfolio and coordinate their execution.

    • Identify opportunities to develop support tools/processes that increase sales productivity and effectiveness in the field.

    • Market intelligence – understand and effectively convey the competitive landscape; create competitive strategies, tools, and messaging.

    • Support RFP/RFI content development, demonstrations at tradeshow and safety center activities

  • Go-to-market (GTM)/Product Launches

    • Plan and coordinate the execution of new product launch plans.

    • Define commercialization goals, objectives and success criteria and metrics.

    • Define market segments, personas and differentiating value offer/positioning and messaging.

    • Represent US Region launch readiness in Commercial Excellence Reviews, Portfolio Development Teams, and Marketing Functional meetings.

    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that operational requirements are met prior to launch.

  • Marketing Planning and implementation

    • Support the annual marketing planning and Annual Strategic Planning processes for assigned product portfolio; coordinate the development and execution of marketing plans, including where to play and how to win.

    • Monitor and report on effectiveness of marketing strategy execution, by leading the development and tracking relevant metrics and performance indicators.

    • Drive the initiation, planning, deployment, and execution of key projects and programs to ensure the timely completion of marketing deliverables towards the achievement of established marketing strategies.

    • Coordinate development and deployment of HEOR evidence generation activities and customer material to highlight successes and best practices, including testimonials, case studies, videos, and webinars etc.

  • Pricing Strategy

    • Develop pricing programs and optimal pricing strategies appropriate customer segments,

  • Financial

    • Support annual business planning process for your portfolio, including both strategic and tactical financial budgeting.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Experience and Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in science or related field or business. MBA or advanced degree a strong plus.

  • Requires 5-7 years of marketing and/or commercial experience in medical technology, diagnostics, life sciences, or other healthcare field with a consistent track-record of high performance and results.

  • Strong business and financial acumen are desired.

  • Experience in planning, executing, and measuring marketing programs strongly preferred. Background in and knowledge of connectivity and informatics is preferred.

  • Experience working cross-functionally in a matrixed organization is preferred.

Salary ranges may vary for Field-based and Remote roles.
