About the role

The role of the EMEA Sales Capabilities Manager is to partner with the GTM team, Business and country Commercial Excellence Leads and their teams to support in delivering the tools, processes and training materials to assess, develop and continuously improve the performance and capabilities of our salesforce. The responsibility of the incumbent is to lead the execution and coordination of the regional strategy of Salesforce Effectiveness, including but not limited to the BD Way of Selling and Marketing and to partner with the EMEA SFDC Adoption and Excellence Manager to ensure the continuous improvement of associate capabilities in using SFDC.com. This role reports to the Inside Sales & GTM Optimization Director EMEA

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Partners with BU in execution and coordination of Salesforce Effectiveness & Capabilities strategy, including training, capabilities, and design, on behalf of BD in across EMEA.

  • Partners with the businesses to assess, develop and continuously improve sales associate & sales management capabilities and sales performance.

  • Responsible for managing and continuous improvement of the BD Way of Selling, sales training programmes, systems, tools, reporting, governance and the coordination of internal and external partners and stakeholders, to increase BD sales associate & manager performance.

  • Responsible for managing and continuous improvement of sales training programmes, systems & tools to increase BD sales associate & manager performance.

  • Responsible for change management and developing change management capability within the team & sales management.

  • Accountable for key stakeholder relationships significantly at Director, Manager & Sales rep level.

  • Responsible for the continuous improvement of training for SFDC CRM in partnership with EMEA SFDC Adoption & Excellence Manager.

  • Analyse internal data to understand the capability needs of the regional sales teams across all EMEA Business Units and Countries and to define the trends and,

  • Lead the creation and maintenance of regional sales competency training for the sales force, identifying the evolving needs and best practices and providing regional insights to the BU and Country owners, e.g. BU ComEx Leads.

  • Ensure the necessary content and materials for the EMEA salesforce are provided for use within ShowPad and the EMEA onboarding platform

About you

  • Solid experience in commercial sales, marketing, analysis and insights, Sales Force Effectiveness in complex companies (5/8 years), preferably in the Healthcare / MedTech field.

  • 5+ years of professional work experience within MedTech, Pharma or large B2B company, preferably with experience and certified in a Sales Training with a track record of success.

  • Strategic thinking and business acumen - understanding markets, trends and competition.

  • Experience in planning metrics and KPIs, as well as experience in Finance.

  • Strong ability to collaborate and network, in complex matrix organizations, with the proven ability to manage internal and external stakeholders to positively influence and build strong mutually beneficial and inclusive relationships.

  • Solid understanding of the sales cycle, customer journey, personas and the BD Way of Selling.

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to convert data into management information with focus on changes in business environment and key performance indicators measurement.
