Job Description Summary
We are seeking a dedicated individual to support the Engagement function at BD Kulim. This role involves facilitating various associates' engagement activities and initiatives and handling administrative tasks.Job Description
Engagement Activities:
- Facilitate associates' engagement activities such as Quarterly STAR awards, ARG, associates' welfare, Festive Celebration, back-to-school programs, annual dinners, family days, birthday celebrations, and other related activities.
- Serve as the contact point for distributing birthday gifts, hampers, and other related gifts as necessary.
Transportation Coordination:
- Coordinate with the transport contractor to ensure safe and comfortable transport services for all eligible associates, including contract renewals, periodical audits, documentation, billing, etc.
HR Department Support:
- Act as JDE’s contact point for the HR Department in handling purchasing, ordering, receiving, and payment requisitions.
Joint Consultative Committee (JCC):
- Coordinate and administer JCC activities, including yearly elections, meetings, appreciation lunches/dinners, etc.
ID Badge Management:
- Prepare ID badges for new hires and replacements for missing/damaged badges for existing associates.
- Update the list of new badges for the facility department for door access requests.
HR Business Partner (HRBP) for Cell 3:
- Attend daily Genba, conduct monthly speak-up sessions, and address any disciplinary, complaints, and grievances procedures.
Domestic Inquiries:
- Assist in conducting domestic inquiries, including the investigation process on issues relating to dismissal, disciplinary actions, and misconduct.
Cafeteria Administration:
- Oversee the cafeteria’s administration and daily operations, including contract agreements, claims, billing, facilities, and equipment.
- Lead the cafeteria committee in daily monitoring, handling complaints, weekly meetings, audits, and other initiatives to improve cafeteria services.
Reporting:
- Prepare HR reports such as dashboards, newsletters, transportation costs, disciplinary tracking, warning letter tracking, insurance, etc.
Special Assignments:
- Liaise with relevant government authorities and handle other industrial relations matters in compliance with the Employment Act and related employment legislation.
- Undertake special assignments and ad-hoc duties as necessary.
