Job Description Summary
The role of the Senior Product Manager is to develop, co-ordinate and deliver marketing programs and manage all operation aspect of a product range that directly contribute to the achievement of budgeted sales, gross profit and OIBT targets for the MDS suite of portfolios in Infusion Preparation & Delivery.
We are looking to start someone in this position in October 2025.
Responsibilities:
To lead marketing strategy development for specific product lines/categories in order to maximise business opportunities in Australia & New Zealand.
Lead the implementation of marketing plans across the assigned categories or products through both direct reports and matrix reporting arrangements with sales specialists, other marketing staff and other functional groups within BD (e.g. Technical Support, Medical Affairs, Finance).
Provide input into strategic planning processes for the Company as well as develop tactical plans which will deliver on the financial commitments set out in the annual budget.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements relating to marketing practices.
Develop strong relationships internally between marketing, sales, technical support, medical affairs and finance functions and externally with distributors, customers, consultants, opinion leaders and Health Care Professionals.
Identify new business opportunities by monitoring competitor activity, changes in the market place and customer needs.
Be responsible for identifying, developing and implementing local marketing initiatives designed to improve penetration, increase market share and profitability within the region.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators including sales growth, market share, expense control and inventory management.
Provide regular feedback and updates to senior management regarding business unit and category performance.
Knowledge and experience:
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
Minimum of five years relevant work experience.
Experience working in the Medical Device industry preferred.
Strong analytical skills, excellent interpersonal skills and project management capabilities essential.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential together with good PC literacy.
Proven ability to work independently and to interact effectively with all levels of employees and external customers.
Demonstrated leadership skills with proven success in managing people and processes.
Good understanding of regulatory environment applicable to Medical Devices.
