The Integration Engineeris responsible for interfaces related tocoreBDproducts. Responsible for providing implementation and support ofBDintegration projects for pharmacy, materials management and related healthcare systems toBDcustomers. The Integration Engineer is responsible for design and validation of scoped interfaces to meet project timelines and established revenue objectives. This position is fully remote and is open to candidates anywhere in the continental US.
Participate inmeetings /conference calls with customers to facilitate interface design, training, and validation
Establish rapport with customers(internal & external)that is conducive to along termbusiness relationships
Must be able tointeract withcustomerteams, gain consensus within teamsanddeliverconcise and consistentcommunication
Consult Lead or Senior Integration Engineers as appropriate
Knowledge ofBDproducts and how they integrate with customersystems. Demonstrate understanding of coreBDproducts, hospital information systems and system validation
Ability to interact withdiverse cross-functionalteams with a focus on small to medium health care organizations
Actively participate in all trainingactivitesoutlined by established Integration Engineer Learning Path
Participate in product/version upgrade integration validation
Must be detail oriented,and demonstrate theability to multitask and implementprojectsconsistent withestablished company and customerobjectives
Possess problemsolving, troubleshooting,and system consultation skillsrelatedtoBDproduct integration, best practice considerations and standardization
Expected tomeet on call duties as scheduled
Maintain accurate account backups anddocumentation
Comply with allBDand Integration Engineer Policies and Procedures
Timely completion of project documentation
Monitor and supply updates on escalated critical issues
Possess excellent organizational skills with the flexibility to readily adapt to change
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent education and work experience.
Knowledge of HIS systems and/orBDproducts as it pertains to hospital workflow. Experience in healthcare environment with technical (systems) involvement and computerized system applications with knowledge of HL7 or EDI standards. Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Excel, SharePoint, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
Suggested certifications include:HL7/MCSE/HIPAA/Interface Engine(ex. eGate, Cloverleaf, Mirth, etc)
Must provide proof of, and maintain current immunizations and obtain additional immunizations appropriate for and required by the facility which enables access to customer sites in order to perform essential job functions.
Must maintain a current driver’s license and meetBD’s auto safety requirements.
Minimum overnight travel required at times. Position requires flexible working hours, including some nights and weekends. Ability to work independently from a home office.
