Responsibilities

Job Description Summary

Join our team as an Application Specialist for the SEE region! In this role, you'll provide guidance and support to customers regarding the operation and maintenance of our products. You will act as the main point of contact for application-related and minor technical issues, demonstrating the features and benefits of our solutions. Additionally, you'll offer application expertise to support presales activities across the organization. Collaborating closely with our technical support, sales, and marketing teams, you'll help resolve customer concerns, identify corrective actions, and ensure thorough follow-up.

Job Description

Main objective of role:

  • Collect the market information in regards of microbiology filed including KOLs mapping, end-users pricing, competitors’ overview, market potential
  • Support BD customers in SEE in terms of microbiology products application and start cooperation
  • Lead local marketing communication activities 
  • Create the local workshops with BD current and potential customers focus on TB, BC, Molecular Diagnostics, LBC and ID/AST business. Positioning BD as a leader and the best partner with the health care solution
  • Support BD customers with application especially  ID/AST, Molecular Diagnostics, LBC, Blood culture and TB
  • Support teamwork and the sharing of ideas and information within the Region and BD World-wide and ensure that BD’s professional and ethical standards are maintained throughout the Region
  • Co-responsible with country sales manager to set and achieve sales targets

  • Excellent influencing and negotiation skills
  • International outlook and cultural sensitivity
  • Good communication skills to work effectively with all levels across in the organization
  • Action and result oriented in a highly competitive market
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written)
  • Demonstrates a high degree of self-motivation, target orientation  and a drive to achieve results. Able to work independently and prepared for frequent travel within the region and to European BD locations; driving license
