Warehouse Supervisor
Job Description Summary
We are looking for a warehouse supervisor to join our team in Zelienople, PA. As the warehouse supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory management, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping orders. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all safety protocols are followed at all times within the warehouse environment. This role requires excellent communication skills as well as strong organizational abilities.Job Description

Responsibilities:
• Receive incoming shipments and verify order accuracy
• Organize storage areas by type or size of item being stored
• Pick materials for WO (Kitting Process)
• Pick, pack, and label outgoing shipments according to customer specifications
• Ensure adherence to quality control standards during each step of process
• Monitor inventory levels regularly to avoid stockouts or overstock situations for the Kanban / Supermarket areas.
• Coordinate with other departments regarding returns or discrepancies related to orders placed.
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions involving goods received or sent out
• Oversee daily operations of warehouse personnel
• Collaborate with Purchasing and AP to resolve block invoices
• Conduct regular inventory audits
• Lead the yearly physical inventory for the site
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure compliance with regulations governing health & safety requirements
• Train new employees on proper procedures when handling hazardous materials
Education / Experience:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Associate's degree from two-year college or technical school and two to three years' related experience
- High School diploma or GED and four to five years' related work experience
- Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail essential
- Strong leadership skills necessary to effectively manage staff members
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) occasionally
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite beneficial
- Knowledge of ERP systems - JDE / MFG Pro preferably
- Forklift certification a plus
