Power Platform Governance Specialist

The Power Platform Governance Specialist will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of governance within the Power Platform ecosystem. This includes ensuring compliance with security standards, data integrity policies, and regulatory requirements. The specialist must also ensure that all data and systems are properly documented, including data sources, data flow diagrams, system architecture diagrams, user documentation, and training materials. Additionally, they should have extensive knowledge of the Microsoft Azure platform and its various services, as well as experience managing complex IT environments. They should also possess strong problem solving skills and excellent communication abilities to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels within the organization.

Job Responsibilities
• Ensure compliance with security standards, data integrity policies, and regulatory requirements
• Oversee all aspects of governance within the Power Platform ecosystem
• Manage complex IT environments, including infrastructure, applications, databases, networks, and cybersecurity
• Maintain accurate documentation of all data and systems, including data sources, data flow diagrams, system architecture diagrams, user documentation, and training materials
• Provide guidance on best practices related to data management and security
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and goals
• Develop strategies to address current and future needs of the organization
• Identify areas of improvement and drive initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity
• Ensure timely delivery of projects and services while maintaining high quality standards
• Support continuous improvement activities through regular assessments and evaluations

Job Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in IT environment
• Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms such as Microsoft Azure
• Experience managing complex IT environments, including infrastructure, applications, databases, networks, and cybersecurity
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels within the organization
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Relevant certification preferred
