We are seeking an experienced Corporate Marketing & Communication Manager Central & Eastern Europe who will lead and implement the coordinated execution of our Corporate Marketing Strategy and initiatives both internally and externally mostly in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, and Poland. 

To be successful you will work closely internally with Corporate and BU Marketing, Medical Affairs, Public Policy, Market Access and Sales Teams. Externally you will expand and engage KOL network and bring to life our Partnering strategy with GPOs and Strategic accounts. You will notably co-design and implement Omnichannel Campaigns.
The position reports to the Head of Strategic Marketing & Capabilities, C&EE.

Areas of responsibility:

  • Lead our Corporate Marketing Strategy including Corporate Brand, BD Signature Programs and ESG communications in select geographies (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Poland, Israel and select Eastern Europe countries)
  • Develop crucial communication plans for BD in select Central and Eastern European markets, based on the brand strategy and country priorities
  • Partner with Medical Affairs around the commercialization of our BD Learning Academy
  • Participate in the co-creation of BD EMEA Corporate campaigns and initiatives by Collaborate closely with EMEA European Marketing in Headquarters and in other Hubs. Lead their localization and launch across C&EE ensuring alignment utilization and localization of collateral and materials.
  • Develop and launch Local C&EE awareness and Lead generation omnichannel campaigns (priorities Germany, S, A and Poland) Monitor and analyze their efficiency - track impact in collaboration with the BDX Digital Marketing Lead
  • Lead local advertising campaigns a ensure brand consistency throughout all customer facing material and cross all channels (print/online) and
  • Manage external agencies and suppliers to deliver projects effectively and within budget
  • Build or customized assets with Graphic Designers for internal and external usage.
  • Coordinate translation requirements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of translated documents
  • Design and implement local initiatives like Media Training, PR Outreach, presence and speaking at conferences.
  • Lead and run external select BDx conferences, events, and key opinion leader liaison in line with regulatory and compliance requirements, and record impact.

Your Profile:

To be successful in this role, marketing experience is pre-requisite (ideally in medical marketing with a real grasp of a wide range of medical / clinical and ESG realities) with first-hand experience working closely with Sales Team

Ideally you will have had experience for a wide portfolio or products, or experience in different therapy areas. You will be confident in crafting and engaging a wide range of teams, functions in delivering programs of work in a complex matrix, with challenging priorities.

  • Experience in a similar role, preferably in a medical device industry
  • 8+ Experience in Corporate Marketing, ideally in the healthcare industry (company, agency...)
  • Record working on omnichannel campaigns for a Corporate Brand or a Product 
  • Experience working with Opinion Leaders
  • Deep understanding and experience in ESG
  • Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously and to tight deadlines
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Selling Experience is a plus
  • Experience working with Media is a plus.
  • Experience working in a Matrix organization is a plus.
  • Proven Project Management Skills - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to tight deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills, with ability to communicate confidently and professionally with internal and external customers
  • Suitable level of scientific or medical experience around the safe, efficient, and balanced delivery of healthcare
  • Proficiency in German and English
  • Knowledge of Polish is a plus
  • Willingness to travel  <20%
