Our vision for Medication Delivery Solutions at BD

As a leading manufacturer and supplier of products that are used daily in healthcare, the Medication Delivery Solutions (MDS) team provide a wide range of products for injection and infusion therapy, regional anaesthesia and closed medication management.

About the role

We are piloting a new Inside Sales organization within MDS Business Unit, which is a key pillar of our Commercial Excellence 2025 vision to better serve our small and medium accounts and accelerate our revenue growth.

As an inside sales representative you will play a fundamental role in increasing our customer base and reaching revenue growth objectives. You must be dedicated to spending time on the phone with prospective customers, working with channel partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects in order to close deals.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Source new opportunities and new customers through outbound calls and emails
  • Understand customer needs and requirements and show them how our products can help them to improve their patient care
  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest in order to achieve sales goals
  • Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory
  • Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals
  • Perform effective online demos to prospects
  • Manage tenders, quotations and renewals on time in full ensuring operational excellence for your focus customers.

About you

  • Inside Sales experience or Field sales experience in medical device industry.
  • Languages: Spanish and Catalan (native); English proficient.
  • Strong listening, presentation and negotiation skills. Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Strong analytical skills. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time optimally.
  • Self Motivated, driven to succeed and willingness-to-learn attitude.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, PowerBI as well as MS Office products including Word, Excel & Outlook
