As a Clinical Specialist Oncology reporting to the National Sales Manager Oncology, you will drive and accelerate the market development of Oncology and support the penetration of our Peripheral Intervention-Oncology solutions offering in Italy.You will act as a key contact point and primary source of information for clinical and technical requests by Clinical partners, KOLs, BU, and Sales Force and you will operate across our PI-Oncology portfolio to support the implementation of Italian clinical and sales strategy

Our vision for Peripheral Intervention at BD
Our Peripheral Intervention (PI) business unit offers a comprehensive range of medical products, devices, and services for the treatment of peripheral arterial and venous disease, cancer detection, and end-stage renal disease and maintenance.
Main responsibilities will include:
Proactively educates and trains physicians and hospital personnel on technical matters relating to PI-Oncology products through conducting: One-to-one in-services, Staff in-service, and workshops for local hospitals
Agree with other local therapist development specialists in proactively providing regular Sales Force training programs and follow-up. Support BU in educating key company functions/shared services on the PI portfolio
Promote KOLs engagement to enable the PI-Oncology solutions through the clinical practice
Support marketing in new products pre-launch phase collecting intel from the field and developing a clinical plan in accordance with Area Manager, Sales Manager, and Product Manager
Cooperate with Marketing and team in developing and performing Professional education activities and proactively support the team leading specific tasks on PI events and PI activities at the congresses
Support the tender office department and work in harmony with the team to ensure regular updates of technical documents and proactively customize existing docs or build new ones
Portfolio optimization - Support Recode project ensuring changes are reflected in marketing and technical documentation at the accurate time
Proactively collect the product and competitive intel and support in developing appropriate messaging for the Sales Force
Observe and proactively report across the team the market trends which affect PI-Oncology sales, service, and product development
About you
Bachelor’s degree, medical or scientific graduate degree preferred
Proven experience with clinical support in the healthcare system
Experience in the Vascular Access or Breast cancer diagnosis fields are a plus
Proficient level of English
Willingness to travel at least 80% of the time in Italy, rather based in center of Italy.
