About the role

AS Product Manager (Microbiology) you will handle the launch and development of the product through constant analysis of the reference market segment, the identification of growth opportunities and the definition of objectives, strategies and tactics and tools vital to achieve them consistently with the strategic guidelines received at a European level and with the aim of growing the penetration and profitability of the business.

You will develop a product Marketing Plan, identifying the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and risks (SWOT), defining the Marketing Mix and developing an Action Plan of Marketing, Advertising and Promotion initiatives, a Go- 2 -Market Model and channel management, training for the Sales Force, presentation to the market.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Analyze market trends and potential, purchasing dynamics, and customer needs to propose valuable services and solutions.
  • Supply to defining budgets and quarterly forecasts for product lines in collaboration with Sales and Marketing Managers.
  • Develop Marketing Plans for maintaining and launching new products, using innovative ways such as direct marketing and e-campaigns.
  • Implement communication and promotional plans, including coordinating events and training sessions.
  • Coordinate with the Marketing Manager on operational development and management programs, including participation in congresses and relations with scientific societies and clients. Support the sales network in preparing documentation for tender submissions, supervise sales objectives, and propose initiatives to redirect business efforts toward set goals.

About you

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in scientific fields (biology, biotechnology, medicine, engineering, pharmaceutical chemistry)
  • Preferably in possession of a Master's degree or equivalent experience in Marketing and/or previous experience
  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Excellent knowledge of Windows and major Microsoft Office applications
  • In-depth understanding of purchasing mechanisms and logic for goods and services.
  • Extensive knowledge of analysis, planning, and management techniques for the product life cycle, including positioning, behavior analysis, marketing intelligence, product development, distribution channel management, pricing policies, communication, and advertising.
