BD Interventional (BDI) focus on leading innovation and life-enhancing devices in the field of surgical, endovascular, urological and critical care interventions aiming at advancing the treatment of high burden diseases and enabling surgical and interventional procedures.Peripheral Intervention
Our Peripheral Intervention (PI) business unit offers a comprehensive range of medical products, devices and services for the treatment of peripheral arterial and venous disease, cancer detection, and end-stage renal disease and maintenance.

To represent BDPI in a specific geographical area assigned by the company and take necessary action to attain sales objectives.
Essential / Key Job Responsibilities (including supervisory and/or fiscal):
Sells the entire product line to current and new accounts.
Informs customers of new and current pricing, backorders, and company policies.
Executes comprehensive in-service of products to all concerned individuals.
Plans sales calls on a continuous basis, managing sales time effectively.
Develops thorough knowledge of all products and clinical data.
Informs Regional Manager of significant market changes and competitive activity.
Achieves prompt, mutually satisfactory solutions to customer complaints.
Analyzes customer needs and creates solutions.
Maintains company automobile and company property.
Completes and processes BDPI reports including but not limited to: sales summary reports, expense reports, monthly product tracking reports, account targeting reports, and complaint reports in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications:
Product knowledge and all features and benefits of BDPI products Surgical procedure knowledge, adequate to illustrate our product benefits.
Basic anatomy.
Medical and surgical terminology.
Through understanding of needs/analysis selling.
Excellent listening and communication skills.
Understands contract administration
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's Degree or 4 years of outside sales experience required. Medical Device Sales experience preferred.
Two or more years outside sales experience or equivalency
Demonstrated human relation and communication skills

Summary:
The TM is responsible for promoting the sale of all PV products within his/her territory by developing strong relationships with key customers, building market share, achieving sales targets, and driving customer satisfaction through flawless execution of the sales process. The TM will be selling a broad product portfolio to include peripheral interventions, structural heart and abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) treatment.
Responsibilities:
Develops and executes strategies to increase market share in both existing accounts and new business opportunities; identifies areas of opportunity for growth through establishing new accounts or expanding current accounts.
Builds strong working relationships with key decision makers at hospitals and IDNs.
Assesses trends in the marketplace and makes recommendations to management based on competitive analysis and territory needs.
Coordinates resources and support needed to effectively manage assigned accounts.
Maintains detailed records regarding sales activity, customer information, market trends and competition.
Manages expenses such as samples, demonstration equipment, etc., within approved budgets.
Acts as a liaison between BD and clinicians, researchers, administrators, and purchasing agents.
Represents BD at trade shows and other industry events.
Communicates regularly with regional sales leadership and provides feedback on market trends and conditions.
Supports the activities of Sales Specialists and Clinical Specialists as requested by manager.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
Minimum three years of medical device sales experience with demonstrated success required.
Experience in Interventional Radiology/Interventional Cardiology preferred.
Demonstrated ability to drive market share in an assigned geography.
Strong knowledge of healthcare systems and directives influencing hospital buying behavior.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
Must have excellent communication skills, good interpersonal skills, and strong organizational skills.
Highly motivated individual who can work independently with minimal supervision.
Travel up to 75% may be required.
