This is a night shift onsite role (11pm - 11am, 3 days on and 3 days off) offers a competitive salary plus a 48% shift premium.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Safe and efficient receiving and loading/unloading of vehicles and the location of raw materials in designated areas.

  • Safe and efficient operation of mechanical handling equipment. i.e. counterbalance trucks, powered pallet truck, reach truck, tug and trailers.

  • Maintenance of records and logs associated with the material transfer, disposition, movement and location of goods in the raw materials warehouses according to established procedures and practices.

  • Reporting of safety hazards and operating difficulties or opportunities to the Operational Team Leader/Warehouse Leader as a priority.

  • Ensure communication channels are maintained with stakeholder (emails, radio, telephone).

  • Ensure good general housekeeping, cleanliness and waste handling/disposal in accordance with 5S, GMP and Health, Safety and Environmental requirements.

  • Responsible for safekeeping and proper use of company provided personal protective equipment. Reporting damage, malfunction or any safety related issues immediately to the appropriate leaders.

  • Responsible for locating Raw Materials in a safe and efficient manner.

  • Proactively monitor and top up KanBan areas in support of production requirements.

About you:

  • Must hold/or previously held a valid forklift or reach truck license or similar, is essential.

  • Must undergo and pass an annual company provided ‘machine operation’ health assessment in compliance with HSE regulations.

  • Must continue to pass/complete all relevant health assessment requirements on a regular basis.

  • Experience in a Warehouse / production environment is desirable.

  • SAP computer skills or a similar products, is a distinct advantage.

  • Ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams with good people skills.

  • May be required to lift heavy items when working in the lab, however where necessary, lifting equipment will be provided.
