About the Role

The Sales Representative BD Biosciences (BDB) is a key part of the Czech and Polish BDB team. In this function, the Sales Representative looks after major funding opportunities and customers. This includes European fundings (i. a. Recovery funds, Horizon), tailored hospital internal funding and others. The Sales Representative is also responsible for a defined customer group across Czech Republic. In this role, the Sales Representative is the central contact person of the customer departments across all categories represented by BDB. The task of the Sales Representative is the holistic customer development regarding growth and profitability.

You are expected to work closely with the respective Key Account Manager and play a strategic role in managing high impact opportunities within the sales channel vertical. The success of this role will rely largely on your ability to maintain key relationships, and lead the execution of critical processes within the sales process.

We offer a fixed-term contract till July 2026.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Proactively engage existing and potential customers account to develop and maintain strategic relationships

  • Monitor customer satisfaction

  • Align selling efforts to customers’ goals

  • Consolidate related data on customer satisfaction to drive better solutioning and recommendations

  • Manage customer cluster end-to-end from segmentation to sales target setting to sales execution planning according to agreed Key Driver Goals (KDGs)

  • Cross-functional alignment with customer care organization, commercial excellence as well as pricing roles to customer needs

About you

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience and knowledge of the clinical and life sciences markets coupled with strong business acumen.

  • Master’s Degree in the field of Business/Marketing or Biological/ Medical Sciences/ Medical technology is required, a Ph.D. degree would be considered a strong asset

  • Minimum 2+ years of relevant sales and/or accounts management experience preferably in a multinational pharmaceutical or healthcare company or minimum 2+ years experience in Research/Clinical laboratory

  • Willingness to travel in accordance to business requirements

  • Good command of Czech and English language (i.e., written and spoken)
