Job Description Summary
Documentation Engineer is responsible for creating, managing, and maintaining technical documentation for various engineering projects.Job Description
Key Responsabilities:
- Provide MasterControl training in order to provide access to users (if applicable).
- Main contact with Corporate on issues related to MasterControl performance (if applicable).
- Review/Approve all CRs created in MasterControl after team review approval (if applicable).
- Manage documentation of all the product transfers to Reynosa. Other special projects as necessary.
- Archive Room Administration (if applicable).
- Participate as Quality Internal Auditor (if applicable).
- Control tracking and follow up documentation changes for Operations, Quality Systems, Product Transfers, and Design Transfers.
- Assist in the improvement of documentation processes, including decreasing cycle time and improving first-pass yield.
- Coordinate Archive Room activities.
- Coordinate records destruction after the retention period (if applicable).
- Support in Document Control Department projects.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience
- Engineering Degree or equivalent.
- At least two years of experience in Maquiladora environment.
Knowledge and Skills
- English 90%, Spanish 100%, MS Word, MS Windows, MS Excel, and ERP system packages.
- MS Access, Visio, and CAD as plus.
- Responsible, Dynamic, Teamwork, Fast Learner.
