Job Description Summary
The role will be responsible for developing relationships and building partnerships with our customers (clinicians/customers). This person will understand the customer’s needs, communicate effectively with clinical staff, implement effective marketing strategies to increase product awareness and acceptance, identify business opportunities and help sales team to generate more leads. In addition, this person should build and maintain excellent working relationships with all levels of employees in their assigned accounts as well as within BD and the local organization. The candidate should also have a strong understanding of medical devices industry and key competitors’ products.Job Description
Responsibility
- Work closely with Marketing and Sales Team to develop and execute marketing plans.
- Implement the approved marketing plan through programs designed to maximize profitable growth in line with Corporate and Business Unit strategy.
- Manage and develop relationships with customers and stakeholders at various levels including physician groups, purchasing departments, hospital administration, nurses, etc.
- Develops new business by identifying and cultivating potential markets and new products; negotiates contracts; prepares proposals and presentations; establishes and manages relations with customers.
- Maintain good communication with HQ team and provide feedback on regional issues or problems relating to BD products, policies, and procedures.
- Monitoring KOL activities & implementation of projects related to Clinical Evidence & Education.
- Develop marketing tools such as educational programs, brochures, videos, posters, etc.
- Provide training to customers and distributors when required.
- Be the primary contact for customer complaints and quality assurance issues.
- Attend conferences and trade shows.
- Establish and maintain records on all aspects of business activity e.g., competitive intelligence, pricing information, customer data, product use trends, etc.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience preferably in medical device industry.
- Strong knowledge of BD product lines.
- Demonstrated ability to apply analytical skills to improve results.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English.
- Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated success in relationship management and conflict resolution.
- Proven track record of achieving desired results.
- Self-motivated and able to motivate others.
- Ability to travel extensively throughout the region.
