Job Description Summary

As Business Analyst you will be a trusted advisor and provide business partnering solutions to the Business. This role will support the Business Unit Managers and their commercial teams, the Country Business Leader and the Business controller in the finance organization. You will report to the Nordic Finance Business partner and operations manager with a dotted line to the Country Business Lead.

This role is a fixed term contract, ending 1st March 2026.

Our vision for Integrated Diagnostics Solutions at BD

By aligning and simplifying our work, our Integrated Diagnostic Solutions (IDS) business unit aims to drive growth and innovation around everything from integrated specimen management to diagnostic solutions.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Analyze revenue and gross profit performance, including price evolution and profitability tracking
  • Lead forecasting and budgeting processes, ensuring all commitments are met and data is prepared accurately
  • Perform detailed analyses to inform tactical decision-making, manage risks, and identify opportunities
  • Prepare financial analyses and insights to support strategic planning and goal-setting
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams to set appropriate territory targets and optimize profitability
  • Provide sales, pricing, and gross profit analytics, advising on tender/framework pricing strategies
  • Prepare financial analyses and presentations for key meetings and participate in monthly business unit calls
  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing business expertise and clear insights to the business unit and controller
  • Participate in project activities related to reporting tools, development, and testing
  • Ensure standardization and continuous improvement in processes, contributing to a strong Business Analyst team

About you

  • Previous experience in a Business Analyst role or equivalent i.e business controller/sales controller role. You should be educated to degree level and have preferably a Degree in Finance or related field.
  • Strong Critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Ability to extract and interpret data from financial systems and experience in managing large sets of data.
  • Ability to manage big picture while paying attention to details.
  • Excellent technical skills: you should have a good understanding of BI tools (BW, Power BI, SAP BPC Revenue Planning) and Excel knowledge at expertise level.
  • Solid understanding and application of corporate finance tools, techniques and analysis, as well as forecasting, budgeting and planning techniques
  • High level of flexibility and adaptability in changing and complex environments.
  • Good presentation and communication skills.
  • Marketing analytics skills
  • Knowledge about healthcare and or medical device industry, desirable.
  • Knowledgeable in tender management, as well as working in a large international business environment, matrix org.
  • Basic understanding of sales accounting principles.
